Frankfurt Music Messe 2012

Blüthner's exciting exhibition at the 2012 Music Messe trade show in Frankfurt Am Main, Germany, included the unveiling of the special edition Poul Henningsen Grand Piano and the launch of the first Blüthner e-Klavier digital piano models.

Piano industry professionals and piano enthusiasts alike were taken with the sound and the stunning style of the instruments.   The PH Grand is a commissioned reproduction of the 1931 Danish design icon by Poul Henningsen, which was fitted with a QRS player system for the show.  The uniquely light form, with red leather banding and a transparent lid, drew attention throughout the event.  Also on display from the Blüthner classic series was the Blüthner Model S 146,5 cm tall upright, finished in a walnut burl polish, and a Blüthner Model D modern design finished in black crocodile leather. The visual engagement of the Blüthner exhibition this year was only matched by the captivating sound of the instruments.
